The 1971 Society
Supporting the CCS Fund
What is The 1971 Society?
Coastal Christian School has established The 1971 Society to provide special recognition for our most generous donors to The CCS Fund (our annual fund).
The CCS Fund is the annual fund program of Coastal Christian School. It supplements operating budget and provides vital resources that make possible the exceptional experience we provide to our students.
It supplies funding for faculty salaries, professional development, financial aid, as well as programmatic needs such as athletic uniforms, musical and play props, curricular/classroom resources, and much more.
Your gift to the CCS Fund unlocks student potential, supports world-class faculty, transforms education, and creates a vibrant future for us all. By giving, you become a vital ally in the CCS mission of “…partnering with parents and students to serve God by providing excellence in the spiritual, academic, and physical aspects of education.”
The generous support you provide makes a meaningful, lasting difference.
Thank you!

A Bit of CCS History
Founded in 1971 as “Coastal Christian Academy,” Coastal Christian School continues to be a premier, Christ-centered school on the Central Coast of California. A generous benefactor donated the land on Oak Park Blvd., and we are currently building a multipurpose center with classrooms, a gymnasium, offices, Performing Arts studio, and a stage for student worship services and other events.
We believe a new multipurpose building—with all of its educational and extra-curricular options—will propel CCS to hundreds more students each year, impacting many more children and youth with a Christ-centered educational experience!
Impacting every Student
Donors who make a direct gift to The CCS Fund at The 1971 Society level understand the investment required to ensure CCS students have the best possible educational experience. Academics, athletics, fine arts, and spiritual life are all key areas impacted by your donations.
Your generosity makes a difference, impacting every aspect of our school. Every contribution benefits all of our students, enhancing their experience.

Current Giving Campaign:

In 1977, the Lord moved in the heart of a generous saint, Reuben Kvidt, to donate 27 acres of beautiful Pismo Beach land with the express desire to build a thriving Christian school.
Today, that dream is a reality, and it’s Time to Build.
