No RSVP required, just come and enjoy a fun night of growing in our love for our precious kindergarten children and for each other as a community!

Our transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten programs are designed to prepare our youngest students for their future in school in a loving, fun, and nurturing environment. Social skills are practiced in the light of God’s Word, helping our students understand that they can be children of God and family members in the body of Christ.

Kindergarteners must be 5 years old on or before July 1, 2025

Transitional Kindergartners must be 4 by July 1, 2025

While reading is taught using a phonics approach, children also learn to recognize the ‘sight-sounds’ of letters and use those skills to comprehend words, which is the basis of reading. A fully integrated approach to teaching is used and students are well-prepared for first grade by the end of their kindergarten training.

Transitional Kindergarten (TK)

CCS TK offers a full-day program. The mornings will primarily consist of learning academics and social skills through centers and group time, while the afternoon will focus more on rest and structured play activities. Parents desiring a half day program may exercise the option to pick up their child mid-day.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten is a full-day program which allows both the academic and developmental aspects of kindergarten to be emphasized throughout the school day, giving each child a well-rounded kindergarten experience. Our kindergarteners also enjoy weekly kinder music, and kinder library, adding to our “whole child” approach to education.

2024-25 Theme:

Culture tells us to build our lives one way, but Jesus teaches us another—and we do not use tools that are anything like the world’s.

The tools we use are forged by God, equipping us with the knowledge to demolish all strongholds of godless philosophies and self-deception.

Armed with the truth, we can crush every thought that is not of Him as we build a holy foundation on Christ, the eternal Rock.

Theme Verse

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

ABOUT US

OUR VISION

To be the top school choice of Central Coast families where biblical education is instilled and Christian leaders are raised.

Our Mission

To partner with parents in preparing students to serve God in all of life by providing excellence in the spiritual, academic, social, and physical aspects of education.

The dream has become a reality

In 1977, the Lord moved in the heart of a generous saint, Reuben Kvidt, to donate 27 acres of beautiful Pismo Beach land with the express desire to build a thriving Christian school. In 2024, that dream is a reality, and it’s Time to Build!
