The Dream becomes a Reality
In 1977, the Lord moved in the heart of a generous saint, Reuben Kvidt, to donate 27 acres of beautiful Pismo Beach land with the express desire to build a thriving Christian school.
Today, that dream is a reality, and it’s Time to Build.

Why Build?
As the educational landscape of our culture continues to shift, the need is great for a growing Christian alternative. In the past five years alone, Coastal Christian School has more than doubled in student population (180 to over 410). Demographic studies indicate we can reach over 600 Kindergarten through 12th-grade students.
We believe a new multipurpose building—with all of its educational and extra-curricular options—will propel CCS to hundreds more students each year, impacting many more children and youth with a Christ-centered educational experience!
It's all about the students
Time to Build is all about our precious, unique, intelligent students. Our mission has always been to partner with parents in preparing students to serve God in all of life by providing excellence in the spiritual, academic, social, and physical aspects of education.
With the CCS multipurpose building now a reality, we will be able to carry out our mission to future generations of CCS students and families to impact the world for Christ.

The blueprints are drawn, the land is graded, and amazing donors are responding as the future of Coastal Christian School takes shape. As the state-of-the-art multipurpose building and beautiful sports complex on the horizon, we are absolutely thrilled and humbled by all the Lord has done for our students.
