Enrichment
And Technology
From speech meets to robotics competitions, we are committed to offering an abundance of creative opportunities for our students to enhance their experience at CCS.
Enrichment
In addition to our rigorous academic program, students participate in the following ACSI sponsored academic competitions: Spelling Bee, Math Olympics, and Speech Meet.
Spanish is taught as a second language in grades 8-12. A basic foundation for conversational and grammatical language is taught in combination with the Hispanic culture.
Elementary and junior high students enjoy weekly music and drama classes which include playing rhythm instruments, singing, basic music reading, learning about various instruments, developing improvisational skills, and participating in school musicals and plays.

Our students enjoy educational opportunities in our local area, like Monterey Bay Aquarium, state parks, zoos, farms, and more.
Our students broaden their horizons with national and international trips, such as excursions to Washington D.C., Israel, and more.
Twice a year, we take our secondary students on multi-night getaways “to the mountaintop” where they grow closer with the Lord and each other.
Science Camp
Our 6th Grade students head out to God’s creation for an amazing adventure at Hume Lake’s Outdoor Education science camp.
From the Computer Lab to the mighty Pacific Ocean, we offer a variety of extracurricular clubs. All include learning skills at a deeper level.
Electives
Our electives offer students the opportunity to reach beyond core curriculum to nurture even more creativity and intellect via subjects such as Visual Arts, Media Arts, and Performing Arts.
Community Service
One of the unique ways our students grow is by serving our community in a number of ways. From helping children in church Sunday school to cleaning up God’s creation, our students invest their hearts in making a difference.
Student Government (ASB)
We cultivate leadership in our secondary school through our ASB program, which includes student-elected offices as well as student-led rallies and activities.

Spirit Days
Led by our ASB student officials, our Spirit Days incorporate creative, fun activities geared to nurture excitement and pride in our school.
Yearbook
Yearbook team is a great opportunity to develop skills in photography, printing, editing, graphic design, and working as a team to create a “memory masterpiece.”
Social Events
From beach bonfires to school dances, we believe it’s essential to help our students build healthy community with each other in fun social settings.
Technology
Living in the age of technology, we set our standards high when it comes to keeping up with the latest technology as a teaching tool for our educators and as part of our overall academic programs.
Beginning in kindergarten, all our students have weekly Computer Lab instruction and time. Primary students regularly learn multiple facets of technology. We believe technology plays an important and exciting role in the education process.
Our goal is to cultivate students who can make a lasting, positive impact on the world we live in, leveraging current technological mediums to communicate the truth about the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
