Head of School

Dear CCS Parents, Faculty, and Friends,

I am writing to share an update on the search for our next Head of School. As a community committed to Christ-centered education, we are deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support as we move through this important process.

The Board of Trustees, in partnership with the search firm, NextEd, began the search during the summer with a clear goal: to identify a leader who loves the Lord, embodies our mission, and will continue to guide CCS with vision, humility, and excellence.

Over the past several months, the Search Committee has:

• Reached out to parents, faculty, staff, students, and alumni to understand the community’s hopes for the next Head of School.
  
  
• Finalized a detailed position profile reflecting our school’s mission, values, and leadership priorities. The profile has been available in numerous places where candidates would be looking for such opportunities.
  
  
• Begun reviewing applications from a diverse pool of highly qualified Christian leaders from across the country.

The Board has begun initial interviews with candidates and prayerfully discerning those best suited to advance the mission of the school. In the coming weeks, candidates will be on campus for more in depth interviews. Although the timeline is somewhat fluid, our goal remains to identify the best candidate in the next several weeks, with an announcement anticipated following that.

We ask for your continued prayers for wisdom, unity, and clarity, as we trust God’s provision for the next season of leadership at CCS. We are confident that He is preparing the right person to lead our school forward.
